Where else should I look for it? The stamp is the only one left in this office, and it is my responsibility. If I lost it again this time, I will be suspended. Oh My! How could I forget where I put it? All drawers on my work desk and shelves in the whole office cabinets are already opened to seek the only office self inking stamp. But nowhere to find, and I start to growl.
I had talked to the accounting manager recently for more consideration to provide more than one company stamps. She said that it was such useless idea if we have several company stamps. Apparently, with inking address stamps, the biggest possibility is rather more on misuse of them for unnecessary things or even worse. Well, her answer was quite right; however, nobody is to be blame when the only stamp we have is used by several hands then it lost. I myself have no idea who last used the stamp. I could hardly monitor who borrows it and where it is taken meanwhile I am also busy with my own job. Then it is not mistaken if I have requested for extra provision of it.
If she considers the price to get a new stamp, she should check on some brochures given recently by a stamp company. Similar stamped result could be gained from different form of stamps such as address rubber stamp. Mentioned in the brochure, this type of stamp is more economical both in use of ink and in price, and the result is as good as standard office stamps. But, still, I don’t want to push her to get one. And I just have to keep on looking for it while asking people around about it. Well, an extra activity in this early morning.
