Wireless Temperature System

November 14th, 2009

Wireless Temperature System photoPew! It’s really hot in my room. I wonder whether the Air Conditioning works well. I have asked the office to check it, but until now he does not turn up yet. I’d better go out of the room to get better air.

I notice that the temperature in the main room of the office is just the same – hot and uncomfortable. There are many people in the room, I understand, but the heat is quite unusual. The temperature monitoring system does not apparently work at it should be I guess, so I decide to check one available in the room. And I find that it does not work at all; there is no signal that the system is on. Some mechanical failures have occurred inside of the system, and it causes the system stop working.

The technician comes to me and said that the system could not be working for a moment. Alternatively, he will temporarily provide wireless temperature monitoring but he needs confirmation from the boss. I guess boss will agree with the idea because I am sure she is feeling the heat all the same. We could not predict what the temperature is like now without the temperature monitor and of course we don’t want to force all air conditioning in this office working over limit. The technician would also talk to the boss about applying wireless temperature system in the office. It functions to make things easier to monitor and to condition the temperature in each room. This could be handier and simpler than installed ones, and it is not affected by electrical shocks. Well, I think it is a good idea and, again, boss will like it.

All about Rugs!

All about Rugs! photoMom seems to be tired. The whole day she has been cleaning up the house, taking out some old things and rugs. I have no idea what she is going to do with the old items, but the rug is my part. I must hang them one by one on a dry-cleaning rope in the garden slap them with mattress beater. Perhaps I slap the rugs too hard or perhaps the rugs are indeed dirty until just one slap I swing, and the dust… it is too much because the rugs are too dirty. Fresh air in the garden suddenly changes to be so dusty that we both must get away from the place for the moment, until the air is getting better.

While waiting, Mom tells me that it is better to get some new but cheap rugs. The ones we have hanging on the rope are too old and too dirty; they have accompanied my house for years but never get vacuumed because we don’t have a vacuum cleaner. Some rooms in the house also need rugs. Mom tells me to spare my time this weekend to go with her to the city. Only for rugs we are going there so it would not take long time.

She shows me a catalog of various rugs from a rug store in the city. The catalog is quite common but the rugs are quite interesting – any kinds of rugs are available there. It is all about rugs. I look at on some images of area rugs and ponder whether there is one in my bedroom. The floor tiles in my bedroom are unique as a matter of fact; however, I could not lie down on the floor during the winter. The ceramic floor is so cold for my skin that instantly I will catch a cold. Mom understands this and she promises to get one for me when there is a good price on this kind of rug. Gee Mom, thank you.
